Information for visually impaired voters
A ballot paper template will be available at each polling station in Cavan and Monaghan to facilitate visually impaired voters. The template will allow voters to identify the location of the box to be marked for each candidate by touch. A list of the candidates running in the General Election, in the order they appear on the ballot paper, can be heard by calling the freephone number below.

CONSTITUENCY OF CAVAN MONAGHAN
Take Notice that, pursuant to a writ issued to me by the Clerk of Dáil Éireann, I will take a poll on 29th November, 2024, between the hours of 07:00am and 10:00pm to elect 5 members of Dáil Éireann for this constituency.
The names and descriptions of the candidates standing nominated and of their proposers (if any), and the order in which they will appear on the ballot paper, are set out hereunder.

Polling Scheme November 2024
A copy of the polling scheme in use for the General Election on 29th November, 2024, may be viewed by clicking on the links below.
The polling scheme lists all polling places being used for the elections and details of the townlands assigned to vote at each place.
General Election Order
The minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage has issued an order setting 29th of November 2024 as the date of the general election poll. Polling hours will be from 7.00am to 10.00pm on that date. A copy of the order can be viewed by clicking the link below.
Working at Elections
We are currently not accepting applications for work at future elections. Once the date for the next election or referendum has been announced you will be able to apply for work on the election through this website. Note that we can only accept applications made through this website and are not in a position to process or reply to applications made by phone, email or post.
